We have a new little Bonnie! My (almost) daughter Jo, and her partner Sam had a little girl just over three weeks ago and they have called her Bonnie. I have just spent the last couple of hours giving her the most wonderful cuddle. She is so cute! And of course it gave me the excuse to tour the shops looking at girlie things! I didn't think to ask if I could post a picture on here, but I will ask as I am sure you will all fall in love as well.
It is chucking it down with rain outside. Although it is lovely to listen to the rain whilst snuggled up in the warm and dry, there are some disadvantages to living in such a small space. You end up living in the nautical equivalent of a Chinese laundry!!!!
Oh, I'd love to see photos of Bonnie.
ReplyDeleteAnd I laughed about you living in a nautical Chinese laundry. Rather like a Chinese family living aboard a Chinese junk on the Yangtze River?

So exciting! Yes, please ask for permission to post photos...we'd love to see sweet Bonnie.
ReplyDeleteOk, I am a guy, what is an almost daughter.

Kay and Cheryl - I will ask tomorrow x
ReplyDeleteBill - lol, Jo is a young lady who used to live with me when I was a single mum and looked after my boys when I was at work. She became part of the family and the boys have always considered her as a big sister. She always says I am her second mum, hence my (almost) daughter!!!!!
Am certain that your face was a delight to behold while you were holding your nearly granddaughter :)
ReplyDeleteOne of the nearly joys (not) of living aboard was always the smell wet clothes.
The weather has been lousy today hasn't it! I think it was sleeting earlier!
ReplyDeleteBonnie sounds a delight.
Thanks for the updates!
Liking your Ultimate Life List too.

I hope you get to post some photos...

There's a new term for me, "chucking it down." One thing I love about the West Coast is that the rain is usually more misty and you can go about your daily activities without feeling cooped up. - Margy
ReplyDeleteFran, how exciting to have a new little one to play with! The older I get the more I like to play with babies. That might have little something to do with having had 6 of my own. I hope we will soon see a photo.
