I've just spent a lovely lunchtime with Jolene and Bonnie having homemade soup and cake at Tea by the Sea in the sail loft in Tollesbury (I know, what about the diet I can hear you shout!) But it was a coconut and lime drizzle cake, so obviously very healthy with all that fruit! The tide was in so it was difficult to get a picture of Bonnie on Bonnie, so you have the next best thing; Bonnie next to Bonnie! Also another photo just so you can see how beautiful she is. And so good, she slept all the way through lunch, I really don't know what Jolene means about her crying!!!! I don't have a picture of Jolene and Sam, so here is one of her with my eldest son, Philip. You can really see that Bonnie gets her good looks from her very proud mum!
such a cutie,

I just discovered your blog while surfing the internet and I has taken by the story in your profile. Living on a barge, that sounds so enticing. My husband and I are also sailors, but only lake sailors, we had a 25 foot Catalina but sold it a couple years ago, and now wonder what were we thinking. We miss it so much. I do hope you have posted photos of the concrete sailing yacht that your husband built. I am going to go through your archives in search of a photo. My husband's business is concrete. I'm looking forward to seeing your new home take shape, your new fan and follower, Connie. .... Please come and visit, my welcome mat is always out.
ReplyDeleteGill. - thanks, I think so too but I am a little biased!
ReplyDeleteConnie - welcome aboard and thank you for your comments. I can't imagine giving up sailing I think it's in the blood! There is a picture of the yacht in the archives (January 2011). On my way over to you .......xxxx

What a sweetie, Fran. But then Gran Fran definitely has a strong influence there. With all that lovely cheerful nature in the genes, what else could Bonnie be put a total poppet. Lovely pic of your son and Jolene too.
