Flaming June

Well, I think this is the only source of heat we are going to get this weekend. Flaming June, more like freezing November!

  4. Yesterday was beautiful here in NL. Today it is dry with wind and patchy cloud, but it's a lot colder. Very strange. I'm so sorry it's so miserable there Fran.

  5. Mel - your first comment almost sounded sympathetic but now you are sounding just plain smug! With friends like you.......!!! Xxx
DC - it is that horrible NE wind that's doing it, but friends of ours sailing up at Whitby have no wind at all! Very strange xxx
Val - at least you sound sympathetic, unlike Mel! Xxx

  8. Ha' ha ' ha!

Surely you are not one to bear a grudge ?

This first time in three years that we have had a dry spell in June !!! Last year was so bad that our farmers had to import grass to feed their stock from Europe and the UK.

  9. Bad weather, nice fire. We've had a few nice days, but it is back to rain/drizzle for most of the rest of the week. Hope summer arrives on time. - Margy
