End of the Working Day

I love coming home from work, putting on my jeans and boots and taking Alfie for a walk along the seawall.  It really is the perfect way to blow away the cobwebs.  Alfie absolutely loves going mad across the marshes and thinks that the seagulls are there to play just with him!  Tonight I took my camera with me and took some more shots of our soon to be neighbours, who, I have to say, are all lovely and friendly and I cannot wait to be one of them.

  1. Hi Janys, you are more than welcome to come by and have a look at Bonnie and enjoy a meal and glass of wine with us in the sailing club. Just let us know when. x

  2. Fran it looks gorgeous there. I do love mudflats so much. If I could bring my barge over and put it there, I think I'd be very happy. Looks as if the Vereeniging would have one or two other Dutch neighbours too ;-)

  3. Vally, yes there are some dutch barges here and even a dutch owner! I came over to Rotterdam to look at a barge and bumped into our dutch neighbours in Rotterdam station. Small world! Anyway you are also welcome if you are ever in the area, especially as your book is being passed around and loved by everyone. The only negative comment so far is that the book finished when they wanted to keep reading! So when is the follow up?

  4. Hi Fran - Thanks for following my blog about float cabin living. The concept isn't too much different than what I see about your barge. I've had fun looking around your blog and will try to get caught up on what I've missed so far. - Margy
