Warm and Dry !

Well, we will be warm and dry come the winter.  Thought I would give you a quick look at the inside of the wheelhouse.  I am already imagining where the seats, table etc are going to go.  As you can see there is plenty of room for everything.  However, come the winter this is going to be our bedroom.  With our lovely bed from home, a wood burner (and windows and doors of course!) we will snug and cosy and work can continue down below.  I don't know if we are ever going to get any rain round here to test if the roof is watertight, this has to be one of the driest springs ever.  Our mate Billy is off on his travels tomorrow, taking his yacht Tutak up north for a few months.  Have a great time Billy and be safe, I will keep my readers up to date with your adventures.

  1. Love the wheelhouse. What fun to plan where everything will be, and while you're planning, you're using it as a bedroom. I'd be up every morning with a tape measure in my hand and a brilliant new idea. LOL
How can you tell I like new construction?
Sounds like your mate Billy is going to have fun, too.

  4. On admiring your new superstructure, may I enquire as to
how much change will there be to your centre of gravity once the new construction is complete?

  5. Fantastic, Fran. Positively palatial :) It has just started raining over here...mixed feelings about that. We really need it, but I was so enjoying the sun every day.
