Avocado Toast

Where have you been all my life! Mashed avocado on hot, buttered granary toast, seasoned with salt and pepper. Simple, but tastes like a little bit of heaven on a plate. Mmmmmm.....

  9. Ooh, yummy. I love avocado. I've been known to eat a whole one, by myself, with a spoon and a salt shaker. Now I'm hungry. Why do I feed the dog and forget to feed myself?
Avocado on buttered toast. Yes, I'll have to try that.

  10. Hi Jane, It took me a long time to even taste avocado . . . green mush just doesn't look good. Well, it just proves the saying, "Don't judge a book by it's cover". I agree they taste like a little bit of heaven :)
Your toast and avocado looks wonderful, yum.

  14. When I was a kid we had an avocado tree in the back yard. It had so much fruit we couldn't eat it all. And in those days I didn't like them all that much, except in guacamole. Now I would love to have one in my yard, if I had a yard that is. - Margy
