Oh brilliant! But I wouldn't like to be them in a storm. I mean boats are built to float...caravans, even ones heavily disguised as boats ( :)) are not!
Our neighbour up the lake had a trailer on a small float as a shed. He tied it up on one side of his log boom. When we would get a windy storm we could see it moving in and out from behind the cliff. We always called it "Trashy Trailer." It finally got so bad that it started to sink so he hauled it down to the marina area and got rid of it. I can tell you we weren't sorry to see it leave.
You asked about the lime jello recipe. Jello is a sweet gelatin dessert, but it can be mixed with other items to make it into a salad like the one in my Mom's recipe. The fruit goes well with the flavour and the celery gives it a nice crunch. We always eat it as a salad rather than a dessert item when fixed like this.
:)
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the funniest pictures I've seen in a long time.

ReplyDeleteThat is one of the funniest things I have ever seen! I love it! Why are we wasting all this time on our silly boats?

Hi Everyone, glad you enjoyed it. Will post an update soon on the kitchen and then it's back to the barge. Hooray!

That is just HILARIOUS! Are they serious?? I'm thinking that restoring the barge is the right thing to do.
